DETECTIVES are attempting to trace some distinctive jewellery stolen during a burglary on Whitton Road in Stockton on Sunday, May 6 between 5.30am and 10.30pm.
Two distinctive items of jewellery were taken – a half eternity white gold diamond ring was stolen and a silver signet ring with the letter ‘C’ engraved on the front. A Dyson Animal Hoover, a Dell laptop and a safe containing a large amount of cash were also stolen.
Acting Detective Inspector Louise Sproson, from Stockton Operational Crime Team, said: “I would like to appeal to any residents in the area who may have private CCTV to come forward as there may be something which can assist with our enquiries.
“The items of jewellery stolen are distinctive and could be easily recognised. If anyone has been offered any of these items for sale, please get in touch with police.”
Anyone with information is asked to contact Acting Detective Inspector Louise Sproson on the non-emergency number 101, quoting event number 80353.
