THE death of a woman in her 50s found lifeless on a Middlesbrough street on Friday is not being treated as suspicious, police have confirmed.
Police were called to Bewley Grove in Acklam at about 2.20pm by paramedics after the woman's body was discovered.
A spokeswoman for Cleveland Police said: "A post mortem held on Friday evening was inconclusive and the death is not currently being treated as suspicious.
"A file will now be prepared for the Coroner."
Witnesses reported seeing about eight police cars in the quiet residential street after the incident.
The cul-de-sac is flanked by large semi-detached homes and lies off Hall Drive, opposite Marton Football Club and near Acklam Hall.
