DETECTIVES have released CCTV images of people they want to speak to after two men were left unconscious in Stockton.

Two men reported that they were walking along Yarm Lane in Stockton, towards the High Street, when they were approached by a man in his early 20s at approximately 3.15am on Sunday, December 17.

The man knocked one of the friends to the ground leaving him unconscious, and it is alleged he then attempted to assault the other man.

The first victim was helped by members of the public and was then taken by ambulance to the University Hospital of North Tees where he received treatment for facial injuries.

The suspect is described as white, in his early 20s, 5ft 10ins tall, of slim build, with short mousy hair and wearing a black tracksuit.

It is further reported that the male described then went on to attack two other men on Yarm Lane and during this attack was assisted by another male.

This resulted in another member of the public being knocked unconscious during the affray, opposite Jokers and The Garrick.

The second suspect who is described as white, in his early 20s, 5ft 10ins tall, of proportionate build and wearing a light blue weather-proof jacket and dark bottoms.

It is reported that the men left the scene in a silver Peugeot which was parked near Jokers.

A 25-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of affray and released under investigation while inquiries continue.
