A SCHEME to help Stockton residents get cheaper energy bills will close for registrations in just two weeks.
The Big Community Switch, being offered by Stockton Borough Council in partnership with group buying scheme company iChoosr, invites people to joint together to form a single buying unit, meaning there is more room for negotiation on energy bills.
Registration is open until 8pm on Monday, November 27 at www.stockton.gov.uk/bigcommunityswitch.
Anyone in need of support to help them register can contact the Stockton & District Advice and Information Service at Bath Lane, Stockton-on-Tees, TS18 2DS (open Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm) or on 01642 633877.
Residents should have an annual energy statement or recent gas and electricity bill.
