A BABY died suddenly in Teesside on Thursday morning, police have confirmed.
Emergency services rushed to Hillside Road, Norton, near Stockton, Teesside, to the aid of the four-month-old at around 8.30am.
Sadly, medics were unable to save the baby, whose cause of death has not yet been confirmed.
A spokeswoman for the North East Ambulance Service (NEAS) said: “We dispatched a rapid response paramedic, double crewed ambulance and our critical ambulance response unit and transported one patient to the University Hospital of North Tees.”
A Cleveland Police spokeswoman said the death was currently being treated as 'unexplained', with a post-mortem examination scheduled to take place this evening (Thursday).
