TEAMS taking part in an annual Mayor’s charity golf day have raised thousands of pounds for charity
The Mayor of Stockton, Councillor Maurice Perry, hosted the sporting fundraising occasion at Wynyard Golf Club on Friday, 16, where 24 teams helped to raise £7,000.
The event was held to raise funds for the Mayor’s chosen charities which are Meningitis Now, the Motor Neurone Disease Association and Cleveland Alzheimer’s Residential Centre Ltd.
Cllr Perry, said: “I am thrilled at the amount of money that has been raised through this event and I would like to say a massive thank you to everyone that helped to organise and take part on the day."
