COMIC book heroes and fantasy legends were spotted on the streets of Stockton on Saturday.
Daleks rubbed shoulders with a giant dragon at the annual Kapow event, which also saw families and fantasy fans meet superheroes and Stormtroopers.
The specialist market and family fun day returned to Teesside for the fourth year, bringing with it a host of traders, workshops and activities including a Hotter than Potter magic show.
Former Dr Who star Katy Manning was among those making special appearances at the event, originally organised by the Who Ray! shop, on Silver Street.
Interviews were conducted with Ms Manning and other guests, including model-maker Gary Pollard, who has worked on Star Wars, Harry Potter and The Labyrinth.
Many weird and wonderful characters graced the streets of Stockton throughout the event, with visitors donning the guises of Hagrid from Harry Potter, Judge Dredd and Captain America amongst others.
This year, the free event - which has grown substantially since its launch four years ago - was run by Stockton Borough Council with some elements throughout the day organised by Stockton’s Business Improvement District (BID).
