POLICE have seized weapons and drugs after executing a warrant in Stockton.
Officers from Stockton's Neighbourhood Policing Teams executed a warrant under the misuse of drugs act in Norfolk Street, Stockton on Tees on Saturday, February 11.
Drugs, believed to be cocaine, along with a number of weapons, which included knives, a sword, an extendable baton and incapacitant spray were seized at the address.
A 31-year-old man and a 27-year-old woman have been arrested on suspicion of possessing a controlled drug with intent to supply, and possessing a section 5 firearm and have been bailed pending further inquiries.
Cleveland Police said: "We would always encourage anyone with intelligence regarding drugs activity to contact police. Please contact us if you have any information which could assist us in taking drugs off the streets.
