A WOMAN was left sickened after being served a half-eaten meal at a Wetherspoon pub.

Stephanie Archer was dining with a friend at the Half Moon in Billingham when her ham and cheese panini with chips was served to her already half-eaten and with ketchup inside.

Her meal had been accidentally given to the wrong customer, but instead of remaking her dinner, staff simply served her the same partially-eaten dish.

Mother-of-three Stephanie, 33, said: "I felt sick at the thought of them giving me food that had been half eaten. I'm disgusted."

Wetherspoon spokesman Eddie Gershon said staff at the pub had apologised to Stephanie and the incident had occurred due to a "number of factors out of the management's control".

Stephanie declined the offer of a complimentary meal, and added: "I had no interest in the refund. In my eyes this is a definite no no."
