THOUSANDS of pounds worth of cigarettes have been stolen from a shop in Middlesbrough.

The store called "Crazy Prices" on Eston High Street was burgled between 5pm on Thursday September 15 and 9am on Friday, September 16, but police have only just released details.

A large number of cigarettes, believed to be worth thousands of pounds, was stolen from the premises. It is believed that a group of youths were seen close to the shop at about 1.30am on the morning of Friday, September 16. Police want these youths to come forward as they may be able to help with inquiries.
