A FORMER premiership referee is to share his experiences to help raise money for charity.
Middlesbrough-born Jeff Winter is bringing “The Ref Fights Back” to Teesside in a fundraiser for Stockton-based autism charity Daisy Chain.
The former referee is one of the countries most sought after speakers with more than 1,000 appearances here and abroad.
He said “The evening will focus on my own views, experiences and memories of working with some of the biggest names in the professional game. I guarantee a highly entertaining evening while helping a good cause.”
The talk takes place on Wednesday, September 8 at Billingham Synthonia. Tickets are on sale now for £20, which includes entertainment from Mr Winter and a comedian as well as a pie and peas supper.
