A COMMUNITY event has been saved after equipment stolen from organisers was recovered by police.
Hundreds of pounds of equipment due to be used in Ingleby Barwick Family Fun Weekend and a Vauxhall Vectra car were stolen yesterday.
This morning Cleveland Police said a 26-year-old man has been arrested and added: "The local man has been arrested on suspicion of burglary, the car has been recovered and equipment to enable the show to go on has been returned to the owner."
