A MOTORIST has been stopped in Middlesbrough for driving around with a piece of roof guttering hanging out of the window.
The car was pulled over just after lunchtime today by Cleveland and Durham Roads Policing Unit.
A spokesman said: "The potential for something to go wrong with this item being carried in this manner was massive, and the driver had not considered the safety of other road users or pedestrians when he decided to risk taking this short journey."
The driver was reported for offences, and could potentially receive £100 fine and three penalty points on his driver's licence.
