WILDLIFE lovers are in for a treat over spring half term as a variety of fun activities will be taking place at nature reserve.
RSPB Saltholme is offering visitors the chance to try out ponding dipping or simply enjoy one of its nature trails at the park, near Stockton.
Visitor experience officer Sarah Pearce said: “Half terms holidays are always a fun time for us as Saltholme and we absolutely love spring. There’s plenty to see and do, and everyday there is something different to watch, whether it’s the terns over the main lake, or something more unusual from one of the hides.
“Even if it’s raining, we have loads to keep families entertained. Bring your wellies and take a short walk to the wildlife watch point through our welly splash, and dry off with a hot drink in the cafe.”
The visitor centre is open from 10am to 5pm every day. Entry is £5 per car or free for members.
