A POLICE van skidded into the wall of a Stockton town centre solicitors after being involved in a collision on Monday.
The incident happened after the van struck a Ford Focus.
The man driving the Ford, believed to be a pensioner, was taken to hospital as a precaution, but was later released.
The police officer driver suffered a shoulder injury and was also taken to hospital and was released afterwards.
The crash happened at the junction of Bridge Street and Tower Street close to Stockton High Street, near to the Castlegate Centre.
The van had been on routine patrol.
