A YOUNG father has told of his "devastation" at the loss of his computer which contained photographs of his recently deceased wife and mother of his six-month-old baby.

Oliver Terry, who runs the Musiclounge in Stockton town centre, accidentally left his laptop at the venue after a gig last Saturday night,

The Lenovo laptop and separate hard drive contained hundreds of unique images of his late wife Heather, who died last November, aged 35.

Mr Terry, 34, is now trying to run the Musiclounge, look after six-month-old son Dylan and help care for his father, who is unwell. He was so tired after Saturday night's gig he left the laptop at the venue, probably outside, at about 2am and when he went back it was gone.

The hard drive contained pictures of Heather going back more than ten years. It is only worth about £10 but Mr Terry has put up a £200 reward for its return.

Mr Terry left the following message on Facebook: "Photos of myself Heather and family were on hard drive so totally devastated by this. It was that was my only back up."

More than 400 people have shared the message and dozens of people left messages of support. He added: "It's horrendous. My fault. I was so tired I left it outside."

A friend responded: "Not your fault at all. You are doing too much and bound to be tired. These things happen but you're not to blame."

The Musiclounge supports the Raindrops to Rainbows charity for post-natal depression, one of the illnesses Mrs Terry suffered.
