A MAN in his 60s was attacked and robbed in Stockton yesterday morning (Thursday, January 28).

The 66-year-old man was attacked from behind, had his head pushed against a car, and was pushed to the floor and pinned down, between 7.15am and 7.20am on Dennison Street.

The attacker demanded the victim's wallet, took it and then ran off down Dennison Street. The wallet contained money and a bank card.

The victim suffered minor injuries but did not need medical treatment.

The attacker is described as a white male with dark hair, aged between 20 and 30 years-old, big build with a local accent. He was wearing a grey hooded top and dark coloured jogging bottoms.
