A MOTORIST was seen crawling out of this wreckage after a crash in Guisborough Road, Nunthorpe, overnight.
The Honda Civic collided with street furniture in the early hours of the morning.
A spokesman for Cleveland and Durham road policing unit said the driver was seen to crawl out of the car and run away.
After checks, the car was found to be uninsured.
