ARREST: A motorist was arrested on suspicion of drink driving after a crash in Thornaby Road, Thornaby.
A SUSPECTED drink driver was arrested after crashing through a Teesside traffic signal.
The crash involving a silver Ford Focus occurred in Thornaby Road, Thornaby, near Stockton, late on Sunday night.
Cleveland Police tweeted: "No injuries to the driver but carnage caused to the new intersection resulting."
The motorist was arrested on suspicion of drink driving and spent the night in custody while they sobered up.
