A 13-year-old girl is in a critical condition after being hit by a car in Hartlepool.
The incident involving a Citroen C3 occurred on Friday, September 18 at around 2pm in Wynyard Road, at the junction with Kilmarnock Road.
The girl was taken to James Cook University Hospital where she is receiving treatment for a fractured skull and head injuries.
Police said on Monday that she was in a critical but stable condition.
