POLICE warned today (Tuesday) that a bag containing potentially harmful medication had been lost.

A green bag containing medicines for high blood pressure, cholesterol, diabetes and other illnesses was left at a bus stop outside the University Hospital of North Tees in Stockton.

The medication includes four Ramipril tablets, four Simvastatin tablets, eight Amitriptyline tablets, 24 Metphormin tablets and eight Pregabalin tablets.

Health experts warned the mediation can be harmful if taken.

Anyone who may have come across the medication is asked to take it to the nearest police station or pharmacy or call Cleveland Police on 101.
