A GIRL was flown by air ambulance to hospital after she was involved in a collision with a car in Fishburn, County Durham.
The accident happened at 3.45pm today (Wednesday). The girl, whose age is not known but was local to the area, was treated at the scene before being flown to James Cook University Hospital in Middlesbrough.
The injuries were received to her leg and were not life-threatening.
