Keen-eyed officer halts stolen car
POLICE arrested a man on suspicion of burglary after a keen-eyed officer spotted a car reported as stolen.
Cleveland Police Road Policing Unit tweeted this evening: "At 1.30pm today a patrolling officer saw a reported stolen Nissan Qashqai on Haverton Hill Road, Stockton.
"It was brought to a controlled stop using tactiacal containment tactics, and the driver arrested on suspicion of burglary. The vehicle was recovered without damage."
