AN 80-year-old woman escaped injury after a robber snatched her bag on Teesside.
Police are appealing for information after the incident happened along Norton High Street, near to The Highland Lad Pub.
It occurred at around midday on Monday, May 18 when a man snatched the victim’s purse from her handbag. The purse contained the victim’s credit and debit cards but no cash.
The attacker is described as a white male, aged in his early 20s, of slim build with fair hair. He was wearing a white baseball cap, a blue polo shirt and dark bottoms.
