A MOTHER has made an impassioned plea for help to find her son who has been missing since the weekend.

Lee Brown vanished after a party on the Teesside Princess boat with friends and was last seen at around 11pm in Stockton on Saturday night (April 25).

Tonight, his mother Violet broke down in tears as she pleaded for help to find the missing 24-year-old father-of-one, who is struggling to cope with the breakdown of his relationship with the mother of his son.

In an emotional plea, she said: “My son Lee has been missing since Saturday, his son Harrison is missing him, his brother Brett, myself, his cousin Aaron and the rest of his family, are missing him. This isn’t Lee; this silence, he was in regular touch by text or call numerous times a day.

“Someone must have seen or heard from him, I’m asking you to let the police know anything, however, small it may make a difference. I just want my big beautiful son back please.”

Detectives from Cleveland Police have been scouring CCTV in an attempt to trace his movements after he left the boat, while specialist officers have been searching the area around the Infinity Bridge and the River Tees where he was last seen in his Stockton hometown.

Detective Inspector Glen Westmoreland, from Stockton Police, said: “Obviously, we continue to be concerned for Lee as it is out of character for him to go missing and not be in contact with his family.

“We have conducted enquiries to trace those that were on the boat with Lee on Saturday evening, we have spoken to his family and friends, have viewed CCTV and have conducted searches in the area around where he was last seen. CCTV enquiries show Lee passing the Infinity Bridge towards Tees Barrage.

“It is important that anyone who may have seen Lee or anyone with information which may assist the inquiry gets in touch with us.”

Mr Brown is described as 6ft 5ins tall, blonde, with blue eyes and of muscular build. He has a panther tattoo on his left arm, a tiger tattoo on his right leg and his son’s name ‘Harrison’ tattooed across his shoulders.

He was wearing black Timberland boots with a white logo, blue jeans and a blue jumper with tan patches on the shoulder. His hair could have looked shorter than usual as it had recently been cut.

Anyone who was with Lee on Saturday evening or anyone who may have seen him or may know of his whereabouts is asked to contact Cleveland Police on 101.
