VINTAGE caravans dating back to the 1930s are being displayed showing how holiday makers of yesteryear made the most of their snug surroundings.
A display of classic tourers on loan from the Swift Group manufacturer archives and decorated with period accessories will be on show at Teesside Caravans this weekend.
Exhibits will include a 1938 Eccles President, 1949 Safari and a 1964 Swift Clubman from the first year of Swift production.
Original vinyls will be turned on Dansette record players and the event will also feature a display of vintage toys from the 1930s, 1940s and 1960s courtesy of Vectis Toy Auctions.
Visitors are invited to attend in retro clothing and the best dressed will be awarded a £25 gift voucher.
Teesside Caravans is based at Teesside Industrial Estate, Thornaby, Stockton, is open 9am to 5pm on Saturday, and 10am to 4pm on Sunday.
