THE DEADLINE to enter Stockton Duathlon Festival is just around the bend.

More than 800 people have already entered the run-cycle-run race, which takes place on Sunday, April 27 but there’s still time to join in the fun.

There are three distances to choose from so those participating can run and ride with the best but they don’t need to be an experienced athlete to join in the fun.

The Novice race sees beginners set off with a 2km run followed by a 10km cycle and a 1km run.

The standard distance race is set to get entrants’ adrenaline flowing with a 10km run, 40km cycle and 5km run or alternatively try the Sprint route, a course made up of a 5km run, 20km cycle and ending with a 2.5km run.

Entries close tomorrow (Saturday, April 19). Visit www.stockton.gov.uk/duathlon for more information and to book a place.
