TWO men have been arrested after car keys were burgled from a Redcar home and the car outside was stolen.
Police are appealing for information after a silver Vauxhall Corsa was stolen from a property on Greenhow Walk in Redcar following a burglary at the house.
It happened in the early hours of Sunday morning at around 2.20pm.
Two men both aged 19-years-old were arrested on suspicion of burglary and have both been released under investigation.
The car was later recovered after being seen around the area, including the field behind the Primary Care Hospital.
It is believed a large group of youths were hanging around when the vehicle was recovered and officers would like anyone who witnessed the car being driven or anyone with video footage of it to please contact officers.
Anyone else who may have witnessed the incident or anyone with information is asked to contact DC Cat McKenzie on 101.
