A PENSIONER has suffered rib injuries and grazing after being knocked off his bike by a motorcyclist.

The 73-year-old was injured at around 5.30pm yesterday on the pavement near to the Starting Gate Public House on West Dyke Road in Redcar.

Cleveland Police would like to trace the rider of the motorcycle, who did not stop at the scene.

A passing off-duty nurse tended to the cyclist, who suffered rib injuries and grazing.

The motorcyclist is described as a lone male riding a green 125 Enduro style motorcycle which had been driving across a grassed area before the collision happened.
