AN EMPLOYEE was threatened with a knife and a till raided during an armed robbery at a convenience store on Monday night.
A knife-wielding man snatched a quantity of cash from the till after threatening a worker at McColl’s in New Marske.
The robber walked into the Gurney Street shop at around 8.55pm on Monday evening and fled with money shortly afterwards.
He is described as white, in his 20s, of skinny build and wearing a hooded top at the time of the incident.
Nobody was injured during the robbery, which is now being investigated by Cleveland Police.
