A BIKER was left with two broken legs and two men were arrested following a crash at the weekend.
A 26-year-old man is undergoing surgery for serious leg injuries after his motorcycle collided with a silver Audi A5 on Sunday, August 13.
Two men, aged 23 and 27, were arrested in connection with the incident, which happened on Broadway West in Dormanstown, Redcar, at around 6.25pm.
The 23-year-old remains in custody while the 27-year-old has been released under investigation.
Police believe there were a large group of people gathered in the area when the crash happened and are appealing for witnesses to come forward.
