A SMALL animal charity has received a £5,000 capital grant from Support Adoption For Pets to go towards the rescue’s vet bills.
Saltburn Animal Rescue Association works to rescue and care for any abandoned cats and dogs until they are adopted into a new forever home. In the last six years it has rescued more than 2,000 cats and dogs.
Amy Wilson, fundraising manager at Support Adoption For Pets, said: “It is a real privilege to help an organisation that works so hard to care for and rehome animals in need. They are doing a superb job, and the effort the rescue puts in is an inspiration.”
