A POST office worker was threatened with a knife by a thief demanding cash in east Cleveland.
The suspect, who was wearing a camouflaged jacket and had his face covered, left empty handed after walking into the Post Office in Lingdale and holding it up at knifepoint, at about 5.35pm on Wednesday, July 13.
He demanded cash from the safe before leaving with nothing.
Anyone with information regarding the identity of the suspect or anyone who may have seen anyone acting suspiciously around the time of the incident is asked to contact DC Mick Jackson from Cleveland Police on the non-emergency number 101, Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800-555-111 or www.crimestoppers-uk.org.
