POLICE have released CCTV footage of a man that they would like to speak to in connection with the theft of two bicycles.
The thefts took place in Redcar on the evening of Thursday, April 30 at around 8.10pm.
"The first cycle was stolen from outside Shoreline Nursing Home, on Park Avenue, and the second was taken from the High Street several minutes later," said a spokeswoman for Cleveland Police. "The first bike was later recovered in the Dormanstown area. The second bike, which has not yet been recovered, is described as a ‘Giant’ silver gents adult mountain bike.
"Police would like to identify this man in order to speak with him regarding the thefts. Anyone with any information is asked to contact PC Gemma Allan on 101 or the independent charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111. You can also report via www.crimestoppers-uk.org"
