TWO charity boxes were among items stolen during a burglary at the Tea Rooms in Saltburn’s Valley Gardens at the weekend.
The raid took place sometime between 8pm on Saturday, April 25 and 7am the following morning when someone forced entry to the building, causing damage to an external shutter and a window.
The charity boxes were from the Great North Air Ambulance and the local animal charity Saltburn Animal Rescue Association.
Anyone who saw anything suspicious in the area or who has information which could help police is asked to contact PC Stewart Shepherd at Cleveland Police via the non-emergency number 101 or the independent charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
