A FAMILY-run vets practice has been named one of the best places to work in the UK for the third year in a row.
White Cross Vets, which has practices in Middlesbrough and Redcar, and a further 11 across the country. was first named in the Sunday Times Top 100 Best Small Companies to Work For league table in 2013.
It has now climbed up to 19th place - its highest ever place in the list and ranks top for veterinary practices.
Rob Reid, Clinic Director at White Cross Vets in Coulby Newham, Middlesbrough, said: “This survey delves deep into all types of employment issues including personal development opportunities, workplace wellbeing, contributions in the local community and overall opinions about the business.
"It’s definitely very motivating for everyone in our team to know that we work for the leading veterinary group."
The Best Companies to Work For survey is now in its 15th year and is designed to rank the cream of Britain’s motivated workforces.
