Cannabis farm found by police investigating a burglary
POLICE investigating a suspected burglary in Stockton town centre found a cannabis farm.
While on patrol in Stockton Town Centre officers were called to a property where it was believed a burglary was taking place.
When they arrived they found an insecure door and on entering the building they found the 'substantial' cannabis farm containing more than 175 plants.
The plants were recovered and the equipment disposed of.
Inquiries are ongoing and police are trying to trace the tenant or occupier of the property.
