INDIE rock band The Pale White will be headlining a North-East music festival this summer.

The band will be will be performing on the Cluny 1 Stage at the tenth Evolution Emerging Festival in Newcastle in June.

They will be joined on the billing by Teesside’s Cape Cub, Durham’s pop-punk exports Martha, Tom Joshua from Middlesbrough, indie foursome Feva and the art-punk six-piece band, Shy-Talk.

The acts are performing at venues across the Ouseburn Valley on Saturday, June 9.

One of the organisers, Charlie Dancer, from Generator, said: “It’s a real testament to the strength of the scene at the moment that we can present a such a calibre of artists returning to the festival.”
