CHILDREN were involved in a bus crash on their way to school this morning.
One girl was injured and others left shocked when the bus they were taking to school collided with a car on Middlesbrough's Acklam Road at around 7.50am.
The crash happened close to West Lane Hospital and involved a single decker coach - which The Northern Echo understands was the no.14 service operated by Stagecoach - and a blue Peugeot.
At the time, the bus was busy with children travelling to Acklam Grange school, according to a parent of one pupil who was on board at the time.
Police and ambulances rushed to the scene, with a spokeswoman for Cleveland Police later confirming that one girl suffered minor injuries as a result of the collision.
