SKILLS to get gadgets and gizmos working again will be taught as part of a fourth open session to fix an array of broken electronics.
Middlesbrough Environment City’s Fix-it Club aims to problem solve laptops and mobile phones and to repair household goods in a bid to save them from the scrapheap.
The club's "fixers" will host their next free session on Thursday, July 27, and members of the public are free to watch the repairs taking place as well as bringing in their broken goods.
One Planet Middlesbrough's community enabler, Dewi Howell, said: “With a bit of TLC and a little know-how, that much-loved gadget gathering dust on a shelf could have a whole new lease of life.
“Fix-it Club doesn’t promise to fix everything, but our experts have the skills to give it a go."
The session is open between 10am to 3pm in the Parkway Shopping Centre, in Coulby Newham, Middlesbrough.
