ATTACK: Police are investigating a homophobic attack in Middlesbrough
HOMOPHOBIC thugs threw a brick at the head of a teenager.
An 18-year-old man was taken to hospital with head injuries after being attacked by a group of men who shouted homophobic abuse at him before throwing the brick.
The victim was assaulted on the cycle path to the rear of Hollis Academy in Saltersgill, Middlesbrough at around 8.30pm.
Following the attack, the gang ran off in different directions.
One of them is described as wearing a mustard coloured puffer style jacket.
