A MEMORIAL Wall featuring the names of lost loved ones is set to return to help raise finds for Teesside Hospice.

The charity will be setting up the Sunflower Memory Garden in Centre Square, Middlesbrough, in June, where handcrafted flowers will adorn the memorial wall in its heart.

Jess Sullivan, the charity’s fundraiser, said: “The reaction in 2016 was amazing, so we wanted to give people the opportunity once again to feature their loved one’s name on the wall in the centre of the town they are from.

“The poignant wall and beautiful sunflowers will be available to view for the month of June and I would urge all local people to come along and take a look – it truly is a piece of art.”

The garden will be open to the public throughout June.

Jane Moses, a nurse at the hospice, said: “The Sunflower Memory Garden is a very special campaign as it means so much to so many people.

"This unique way of remembering loved ones is very special and the love it represents is so powerful. Not only does it provide comfort to those remembering, it also means that we can continue to provide our care to those that need us most, with thanks to the kind donations received.”
