POLICE are re-appealing for witnesses to a fatal collision in which a 16-year-old boy died in Middlesbrough last week.

Brandon Morris was a passenger inside a silver Ford Focus which crashed into a Nissan Qashqai after a police chase on Tuesday, March 14.

The collision happened just after 8pm at the junction of Park Vale Road and Park Road North.

A 29-year-old man was charged in connection with the incident and has since appeared at court.

A 17-year-old girl, a 22-year-old man and a 17-year-old boy were all taken to hospital and later arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving. All have since been released without charge.

Another 17-year-old boy, who was a passenger in the vehicle, was taken to hospital with serious injuries. He has also been released from hospital.

Officers would like to appeal to anyone who may have seen the manner of driving of a silver Ford Focus in the areas around Southfield Road, Park Road South or Park Vale Road from around 7.30pm on Tuesday 14th March.

Additionally, anyone who may have witnessed the collision is asked to contact Cleveland Police on the non-emergency number 101, quoting event number 043723.
