POLICE are appealing for information after a burglary at a pensioner's home on Castlewood in the Thorntree area of Middlesbrough last week.
It happened between 11am and 12pm on Thursday, March 9, when a man had been working at the 85-year-old male victim’s property and he was invited inside.
After the man had left, the victim noticed his wallet containing £35 had been taken. The man is described as being a white male, around 30-years-old and of 5 ft 11 tall and of slim build. He was wearing a blue top and bottoms and carrying cleaning implements.
