POLICE: Pensioner had cash stolen
AN 85-year-old man had cash stolen after a workman called on him in Middlesbrough last week.
Police are asking for information after the burglary on Castlewood in Thorntree after a workman named “Lee”, left, before the victim noticed his wallet, containing £35, had gone missing, between 11am and noon on Thursday, March 9.
Lee was a white male, around 30-years-old and of 5ft 11ins tall and of slim build. He was wearing a blue top and bottoms and carrying cleaning implements.
- Anyone with information is asked to call Cleveland Police on 101.
