MIDDLESBROUGH Environment City (MEC) is putting on two more of its advice sessions to help people switch to a better energy deal.

Residents dropping in to Middlesbrough Cycle Centre on Friday, January 13 and Friday, January 20 will be able to compare their current energy deal with the rest of the market and get help to switch to a cheaper deal.

The sessions will also include tips on staying warm and cosy during the winter months.

MEC affordable warmth officer Amanda Martin said: “The cold winter months are still with us and there has never been a better time to shop around for a cheaper energy deal.

“You might save a little or you might save a lot but doing a comparison with us is an easy way to find out.”

MEC’s energy advice sessions take place at the Cycle Centre in Middlesbrough Bus Station on Friday, January 13 and Friday, January 20 January from 9.30am until 3pm.

People seeking advice are asked to bring along current energy bills.
