A DURHAM man has appeared in court accused of robbing a 70-year-old woman and tying her up in her home.
Hayden Price was denied bail following a brief appearance at Teesside Magistrates Court this morning (Saturday, November 19).
The 24-year-old is accused of leaving a pensioner shaken after robbing her Middlesbrough home and tying her up before snatching cash and valuables.
Price, from the Durham area, entered no plea in relation to the incident, which took place at a house on The Oval in Acklam on Wednesday, October 26.
He has been remanded in custody until a hearing at Teesside Crown Court, set to take place on Friday, December 16.
