A PENSIONER has been left extremely shaken after two tied her up and ransacked her home during a daylight robbery.

The 70-year-old was robbed inside a property on The Oval in Acklam in Middlesbrough on Wednesday at 1.30pm.

A Cleveland Police spokeswoman said: “The men then left the house with a quantity of money and valuable goods and they are described as being two white males, both with short dark hair, one was 5ft 10ins tall and the other was 5ft 6ins tall and of chubbier build.

“They both wore scarves to disguise their faces. The smaller male is described as wearing a black jacket, black trousers and black trainers and the taller male was wearing a black top and grey bottoms.”

The victim is uninjured from the incident but is extremely shaken.
