POLICE are appealing for the public's help in identifying a man who died in Middlesbrough.

The man, who suffered a medical episode on Howe Street, in Middlesbrough, was taken to James Cook University Hospital on September 22 where he was pronounced deceased.

His death is not being treated as suspicious but the police would like the public's help in identifying him.

He is described as a white male, around 6 ft 3" tall, aged between 30 and 50-years-old and he was wearing a blue and white striped top, blue jeans and white trainers.

Cleveland Police said: "Unfortunately officers have not been able to identify the man and are urging anyone who may have a missing relative or anyone who may have any information to contact the Coroner’s Office on 01642 729350."
