POLICE have issued a warning after suspected burglars walked into unlocked homes in Teesside.
A man in dark clothing and wearing a motorcyle helmet entered a property through an unlocked door in Marton-in-Cleveland. Disturbed by a terrified resident the man made off on a motorbike with another male.
At a property in Southwood, Coulby Newham, a resident gave chase after finding a man wearing a motorcycle helmet in his home before seeing the man get in a black Honda Civic on an 05 plate with a driver waiting.
Following the two incidents on Thursday night, police said: "Please lock your doors even when in your property.
"If you see anything suspicious call Police on 101."
